The challenge
A great app that nobody can find is a dead app. Most launches disappear because they ship into silence, no ranking, no keywords, no visibility on day one. The goal for AI Kiss was the opposite: build a genuinely fun AI video product, then launch it so it was discoverable from the very first day and positioned to grow fast if it caught.
What we did
We handled both sides: we built AI Kiss as a product, and we ran the App Store strategy that got it seen.
Before launch we did the ASO groundwork most teams skip, targeting real high-volume keywords so the app ranked from day one instead of hoping to climb later. Then we treated the store listing as a product of its own, running continuous experiments on the pieces that actually move installs, and tuning the onboarding and paywall so the traffic we earned converted instead of leaking away. Build quality got the users in the door. Store strategy is what put them in front of the door in the first place.
The result
AI Kiss launched into visibility, not silence. In its first week it was already pulling 14.6K impressions at a 47.3% conversion rate. By week six it had grown into a viral hit: 234K impressions, 42.7K downloads, and $14.5K in revenue.
That is the whole thesis of a good launch. Ranking from day one compounds, because early visibility drives early installs, which drive more visibility. Most apps never get that flywheel started. This one did, in six weeks.
